Nathan's Birthday Party!
Over the weekend Eva and I took a trip down to Amber's for Nathan's 2nd birthday party. The party was lots of fun despite the major chaos. There were so many little kids running around it reminded me of the first 10 minutes of Saving Private Ryan except instead of bombs and guns it was toys and cake! Still we all had a great time and it was fun to have Nathan and Eva together. Plus I love any chance I get to spend time with my sister. Aw sisters! (little inside joke to Mom, Am and Michelle)

Little Guppy
Last Saturday I took Eva to an Aqua Tots class. It's not really a swim class, more of a mommy and me play group. Eva and I went for two months last winter and even ended up in the paper when they did an article on the class. It's lots of fun and Eva loves it. We mostly sing songs, play with water toys, teach them to kick their legs in the water and even dunk them. Thats my favorite part, Eva has the funniest look of surprise on her face when she gets dunked. But of all the fun toys and games we play Eva's favorite part is the last 10 minutes when we have free time and Eva just likes to go up and down the pool steps. It's so funny how their little minds work. Just like when you buy your kid a new toy and all they want to do is play with the box it came in. Anyways it's still a lot of fun and Eva is the cutest little guppy.

Eva can stack!
Ok so i know that my life revolves around Eva so sorry that thats all i talk about. Anyways at Eva's 15 month Doctors visit that Doctor asked it she was stacking things yet? I said "No, but she likes putting things in things." He didn't seem to care and praised me on how good Eva was doing but i felt a little bad that she wasn't stacking blocks yet. I know thats like so stupid....it just bothered me. So just a few days ago Eva was playing with her blocks and look what she did all by herself! I guess she's a stacker now. I can't believe that this is was my life has come to. Getting excited over my Daughter stacking blocks. But still I'm so proud of my little girl. GO EVA!
Grandma comes to visit!
Eva got to spend some time with her Grandma Shelli over the weekend and she loved it! Grandma was helping Eva go down the slide and i think she was a little too interested in that than stopping to look at the camera. It was so nice to see my mom and to let Eva see that she has more than one Grandma....not that Grandma Sheri isn't wonderful but it was just fun to have some bonding time. Eva and i will be out to MI this summer so it will be fun to let her be with her Grandma and Poppie. It's sad that we don't live close enough to see each other more often, but at least when we do see each other it makes it all that much better. I'm so glad i got to see you Mom. LOVE YOU!

Eva's love of Salsa
Eva and Daddy
Greg and Eva have so much fun playing together. One of her favorite things to do is to get piggy back rides from her Dad. It's so funny to watch because while she is on his back she constantly licks his ear or head. I think she likes the way his buzz cut feels on her tongue. It's so funny how much stuff we let our kids get aways with.

The little Mother
Eva is such a good little mother. The other day I was watching her boyfriend Luke and when he got a running nose Eva was more than happy to wipe it for him. She went and got the tissue all by herself and did a very good job wiping Luke's nose. She also loves to take her baby on walks. She put on my sweater and push her cabbage patch doll back and forth in our apartment. She really takes good care of all her babies.

Little Eva
Eva is growing up so fast. She will be 16months soon and I can already see signs of her terrible twos. She has a very good scream and isn't afraid to use it. But we still have so much fun together and she makes me laugh all the time. She really likes to be just like mommy. I love having a daughter, she is like my very own mini me.

Our Little Family
My family has been been hounding me to start a blog so I decided I better jump on the band wagon. So here we are. Greg is in his last semester of school, Cadet Commander of the ROTC, working part time and in the National Guard so that doesn't leave much time for Eva and I right now. But that's ok because we have lots of fun together and when Daddy is home it's just all that much better. Greg and I recently went to his Military Ball where I sang the National Anthem. Greg's Family came too so we had lots of fun.
