Layla Grace is 1!

Yes my little angel is now one year old. She was born on January 2oth and has been the sweetest little girl ever since. So who is this little girl? She is the little one in our house who loves to take babies on walks.

She is always reaching for anything she can get her little hands on.

Layla is very tender hearted and gets her feelings hurt very easily. All you have to do is say, "Layla NO." and she will start to cry. Just the other day Greg was teasing Layla and saying, " You naughty little girl, you're going to get a spanking." Eva chimed in and said, "No Daddy you can't. She's tender." Then Greg asked Eva when it would be OK to spank Layla and Eva said after her birthday. Uh oh Layla looks like you better watch out! :)


Even though Layla is tender she is also silly. She loves to play peek-a-boo, give hugs and kisses, pretend to talk on the phone and as we found out on her birthday roll around in tissue paper.


She also likes to blow raspberries and make funny sounds with her mouth which came in handy when it was time to blow out her candle. We had to keep relighting it so she could blow it out over and over again.

Layla is also very independent. She hates to be fed food and insists on doing it herself.

Which always leads to lots of food on the floor.....


And lots of food on her.

So that's our sweet little Layla. She is such a joy to have in our family and I love her so much.
Oh yeah and I almost forgot to mention the best part.....she's chunky.
