Moving On Up!

Greg and I just moved out of student housing and into our new townhouse. I was so excited to move into this place because it is brand new and so beautiful. We did run into a few problems with the move in date due to the contractors. Which I have to say are horrible people who never do what they say they are going to do (no offence to anyone who is, or knows a good contractor). Anyways I don't want to get started on all of that. So here are a few pictures of our 3 bedroom, 2 bath. I'm still moving everything in so some of the walls are pretty bare, but I just wanted to show you my favorite rooms.
Here is our living room I love the fire place and the sliding glass doors that lead to our little deck.

My most favorite room of all is the kitchen! It is so beautiful with real tile floors(no linoleum) granite counter tops and a pantry.

OK so the bedroom is still really bare and the picture doesn't show how big it really is but you can see the door that leads to another deck which is so cool to have right off the bedroom.

I never thought I would get to the point when I would live in a place with a beautiful master bathroom. I love having so much room to get ready in.

And maybe the best thing of all is my DISHWASHER! Greg and I have been married for 4 1/2 years and this is my first dishwasher. Although I'm pretty upset because those stupid contractors still need to come and hook it up. I'm so close yet so far from getting to enjoy the finer things in life. I just keep telling myself," you went this long with out it so a few more days won't kill you". Although while I'm washing my dishes by hand I can't help but glare at it.

So Greg and are a pretty happy with our new place. My only qualifications where that we had to get a place with a dishwasher and 3 bedrooms. Greg's was that we got a place with a garage. So I'm so happy we found a place that met all our expectations and more. It's about time that we have a really nice place to live. I just love it.

I am so excited for you! I didn't know you were moving! Your house looks beautiful. I love how you have decorated your kitchen and filled the space above your cabinets and made it look so classy. I don't have the eye to put things together like that. You always have. Love the cabinets, and of course, the DISHWASHER!

It does look so pretty, and I love the refrigerator!! I would like having the water filter in the front. I'm happy that your bed isn't right against the wall now too. Like I said it is pretty, but all your homes have been adorable, you really have a talent for decorating!!

OK, I did not know you were moving, and into a townhouse! WHOOHOO! It is SO pretty! Look at your kitchen! Ooh, I am so jealous. That is soo pretty. And, you have a deck off your bedroom? And your bathroom, so pretty. I'm so happy for you guys!

Good luck with the dishwasher. I can say it is the happiest part of our kitchen. Or the fact that we have tile and not horrible linoleum from 1972.

Congrats! Are you still in Poky?

A definite improvement Ann! I like your cabinets. And the wire isn't bad at all on the wall, I was imagining it much worse by your description. Like Greg said I think a plant would do the trick.

With all that extra space you shouls be able to practice some magic tricks for the next time you come out.

p.s. I will never just tell you how they are done, but i will contemplate a trade if you can perfect any tricks wrthy of a trade.
