Eva's New Bedroom

I have wanted to redo Eva's bedroom for a while now. So I set out shopping online and in stores to find just want I had envisioned in my mind. And after a month or so I got it all put together. I just love how it turned out. Greg and I decided on Bunk beds because one day the girls will probably share a room and this way we already have Layla's bed too.


I love the bedding. I wanted something just sweet and pretty. Which was very hard to find because right now most girl bedding has Characters on it like Tinkerbell, Hanna Montana etc. Or is more of a punk theme like Pink & Black, our hot pink, green and yellow with big flowers and swirls on it. You get the idea. But finally I found this online. I think it goes perfect with the furniture.


This is her dresser with her bow board on the wall. Eva and Layla wear flowers in their hair everyday so they have lots. This is a great way to keep them all organized.

I just love Eva's room although I feel that these pictures don't show just how pretty the furniture really is but oh well. It really is beautiful, prefect for a little princes.

Easter

So what was the best about Easter this year? Was it that we got to spend time with Amber and her family? And giving Easter baskets to all these cute kids? No.........


Was it helping Eva and Nathan color Easter eggs? No.....................


Was it having Greg and Cameron hide all the Easter eggs in the back yard.
And helping the kids go on an Easter egg hunt? No................



Was it just spending time with my beautiful sister and my own sweet family?



Nope, but close........

So what was the best part about this Easter? It was this little video clip Greg got of Eva and Nathan. I just can't help but smile and laugh every time I see it. Happy Easter everyone.

Happy Birthday to me!

I just had my 27th Birthday on March 31st! Greg likes to tease me that now I am on the dark side of 30. But to me I still feel like a teenager. Actually just the other day my best friend Natalie and I were talking about how we look the same now as we did in high school.....well at least we think we do :) But besides the fact that I am getting older it was a pretty good day. Greg and the girls got me a cake which Greg insisted on having exactly 27 candles.


I think we almost set off the smoke alarms with all those candles.

Greg also got me a very sweet and thoughtful gift. When I opened the envelope I started to cry. Big surprise right? I don't know how well you can read it but it is a girls day out pass for me. He wanted me to go shopping and out to lunch with my girl friends. He wanted me to take my time, be gone as long and I would like and to not worry about him the girls. It was such a sweet gift and exactly what any stay at home Mom would love.


So thank you my sweet hubby! I really had a nice day. And it was great to go out and buy all the cloths and accessories that help keep me looking like I'm still 18 ;)
