My Babies

I took the girls to get their pictures taken today and all I have to say is that I LOVE having girls!

I love being a mom to these two beautiful, sweet, healthy girls.

I am so blessed.

A visit from Grandma and Poppy!

My parents decided that while we only live about 18 hours any they would take advantage of the "short" drive and come see us. I was so happy to have them come and visit for a few days and Eva just loved spending time with them. I tired to think of fun things we could do every day so my parents could see the beautiful town of Lawton (I say that sarcastically because Lawton is a scary, old, run down town that looks a lot like Pontiac MI) Anyways....so one day we went on base to the spray park which Eva just loves to do. And my Mom liked it because she could play with Eva without getting her hair wet. LOL

Another day we went to the two museums that are on base. It was cool and it gave us all a chance to take a little glimpse into Greg's world.

This is an old advertisement poster for enlistment. I glared at it as I walked by. Stupid advertisement! It's because of you that my hubby is putting himself in harms way! I guess you could say I have a love/hate relationship with the army.

And here is me and my Mom. Pretty tough right?

On that day we didn't do much else. My Mom and Dad came to my morning spin class with me and it wore them out good. My Dad was tired and sore the rest of the day. So I think after the museums we just stayed in and relaxed.
My parents also brought little Bailey with them. Eva had a great time playing with him and feeding him his treats. We didn't bring our table and chairs with us out here in order to keep the packing to a minimum. So this was the usual seen every time Eva ate a meal. Bailey longing for just one bite and Eva saying, "No, No Bailey."

On Sunday we went to Medicine Park and fed the ducks and walked along the water. It was a nice day with beautiful scenery.

My Dad also brought the little red wagon that he used to pull me and my sisters around in when we were kids. Eva rode in it just about every chance she could.

It was a really nice visit that went by way too fast. I just wish we lived closer so I could see my parents more often. Thanks for being such wonderful parents and grandparents. We love you.
