Summer Time

From spending our last summer in Oklahoma I was just expecting this summer to be blazing hot. Then I remembered that I'm back in Idaho where it's not uncommon to still be in a sweatshirt with the heat on in the middle of June. :( Yes unfortunately we haven't had too many "summery" days so far. But now, finally we are getting some Sun! My girls are even playing in the pool while I layout. Yes I love summer and I'm so glad it's here! Eva and Layla just love to play in the water and go down the slide.

I bought their little bikinis from Gap kids and I think they are just so stinking cute!

Layla's favorite thing to do is scoop up the water.....

and dump it in the grass. I try to get her to dump it back in the pool but I guess that just isn't as fun.

But then they both just go right back to the slide.

I'm just so glad summer is finally here.

My little Dancer

Last week I put Eva in a dance workshop that was put on by one of the local high school's dance team. It was only a week long class where they learned a couple dances and did a little performance for the parents. My friend Shauna put her daughter Halle in the class too which was so fun because Eva and Halle are best friends. I have been thinking about putting Eva in dance this fall and I figured this was the perfect way to see if she would really like it. Well she loved it and her dance was so cute. So here are a few pictures of her at practice.

Of course Eva had to wear a tutu everyday.

This is a picture of Eva and Halle in their matching shirts after their recital.

Here is a video clip of her dance.

Family Pictures

A few weeks ago we finally got family pictures taken. I have been meaning to do it for a while now and with Greg leaving in a few months I decided we better get it done. I am really happy with the way they turned out and our photographer did an amazing job. He took over 300 pictures so I have had a very hard time narrowing them all down but here are just a few of my favorites.
